Y mae Erthygl 15 Cytundeb y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau’r Plentyn yn ymwneud â’r hawl sydd gan blant i gyfarfod â’i gilydd ac i ymuno â grwpiau a mudiadau:

Mae gan blant yr hawl i gydgyfarfod ac ymuno gyda grwpiau a sefydliadau, onid yw hyn yn cadw pobl eraill rhag mwynhau eu hawliau*

* Y mae’r testun hwn yn dod o fersiwn gryno o’r Cytundeb yn unig. Nid yw testun llawn y Cytundeb wedi’i gyfieithu i’r Gymraeg. Fodd bynnag, y mae cyfieithiad Saesneg yr erthygl hon fel a ganlyn:

"1. States Parties recognize the rights of the child to freedom of association and to freedom of peaceful assembly.

2. No restrictions may be placed on the exercise of these rights other than those imposed in conformity with the law and which are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of national security or public safety, public order (ordre public), the protection of public health or morals or the protection of the rights and freedoms of others."
